This Privacy Policy describes how Zee Saheb The Supermarket ("we", "us", "our"), based in Patna, Bihar, India, collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website and the Zee Saheb Supermarket mobile app (together, the "Service").

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address and phone number when you sign in or place an order.
• Delivery information: the delivery addresses you save, including city, pincode and landmark.
• Precise location: with your permission, your device's GPS location — used only to pin your delivery address and to route the delivery partner to your doorstep. You can decline location access and type your address manually.
• Order information: the items you purchase, order totals, applied coupons and reward points.
• Wishlist and preferences: products you save for later.

We do not collect payment card details in the app; orders are paid on delivery.

How we use your information

• To process and deliver your orders, including sharing your name, phone number, address and delivery location with the delivery partner assigned to your order.
• To show live order tracking and send order status updates.
• To operate the rewards programme and apply coupons.
• To provide customer support.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
• We do not share your data with third parties for advertising.
• We do not track your location in the background — location is read only while you are using the app.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored securely with Supabase, our cloud database provider. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS, and access is restricted by row-level security so only you (and, for active orders, your assigned delivery partner and our store staff) can access your information.

How long we keep it

Account details, saved addresses and wishlists are kept while your account is active. Order records are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes. Live delivery locations are transient and are not kept after the order is completed.

Your rights & account deletion

You may access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and associated data from within the app, or request deletion online — see our Delete Account page.

Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page, and the effective date above will be updated.
